We're proud to offer our highest airflow and largest solar kit available with our 172mm (~7 inch) aluminum waterproof fans! This will work as a great option for a solar powered fan for a mid sized greenhouse, shed, doghouse, or chicken coop. These will blow a combined 603 cubic feet per minute in direct sunlight and is as quiet as a standard refrigerator (43.8 combined decibels) with only a 1.14A fan draw. The panel is IP55 (outdoor environment) rated and the fan is IP67 (submersible in water), but the connectors are not. Please protect connectors with tape or other sealant if exposed to elements. Includes two monocrystalline solar panels, three 172mm aluminum fans, wiring harnesses, mounting hardware (bolts/nuts and zip ties), and grills.
Manufacturer rated and internal testing (in Washington state) maxed at combined 36 watts in direct sunlight (3A). Must have sunlight for power as there is no battery for energy storage while panel is shaded.
Mounting configuration will change depending on your enclosure or greenhouse set up. Some customers prefer to use zip ties (included) to place fans near existing openings while others will cut holes to match and fasten with the included mounting bolts. Customers have used zip ties for the panels (included), double sided adhesive velcro (not included), and short screws (not included) to fasten the panel.
