We're proud to offer our highest airflow and largest solar kit available with our 172mm (~7 inch) aluminum waterproof fans!
This will work as a great option for a solar powered fan for a mid sized greenhouse, shed, doghouse, or chicken coop. These fans will blow a combined 603 cubic feet per minute in direct sunlight and is as quiet as a standard refrigerator (43.8 combined decibels) with only a 1.14A fan draw. The panel is IP55 (outdoor environment) rated and the fan is IP67 (submersible in water), but the connectors are not. Please protect connectors with tape or other sealant if exposed to elements.
Includes two monocrystalline solar panels, three 172mm aluminum fans, wiring harnesses, a 12V regulator along with a on/off switch, mounting hardware (bolts/nuts and zip ties), and grills.
This solar configuration can reach 36 watts in direct sunlight (3A). Fans will slow over time as the sun moves and is not direct. We recommend that panels are mounted in different orientations (distance and/or angle) to maximize sun exposure throughout the day. Must have sunlight for power as there is no battery for energy storage while the panels are shaded.
For temperature control, it comes with a programmable fan thermostat controller so you can control multiple fans with staggered off thresholds.
