I purchased the Dynatron B9 mostly because it was the only cooler I could find that would pull heat and then blow it sideways (and of the available Dynatron models like it, it was the quietest one). I have a specific use case where the cooler is blocked in, so this was a must. Because the B9 already has an integrated vapor chamber, this also saved me from dealing with heat-pipe fit.

I was pleasantly surprised. While my use case is different from most, this unit is able to hold heat steady at the lowest setting, and gets me about 4C below ambient when spinning fast. And this was all done without any thermal paste or pads so the transfer contact was definitely sub-par (again, I have a very unique use case - you'd definitely want to use the included paste but I cleaned it off of mine). So while I don't have any data to back up real heat transfer when used as it's intended, it's good enough to pull out and blow away heat when installed 'wrong', which says a lot.

The fan at the lowest setting is barely audible to the point where I forget to turn it off when I'm not using it. At full speed, it's about as loud as you would expect a high end laptop fan to be. Not too whiney, and if enclosed properly you could easily use this in a 'quiet PC' build.
